Memorial Portrait
A very sad portrait to paint. This young man is no longer with us due to a tragic ending. I was commissioned by a friend to give this portrait to the grieving mother. The flowers symbolize mourning, grief and a mother’s love. Warm, bright colors were chosen to uplift the viewer. I hope it worked.
