Sometimes, there are flowers that are near and dear to our hearts but don’t always match the symbolism.
Petunia: For my mother, they were always traded back and forth with her younger sister. Every spring they would give each other a container of petunias.
Amarylis: For the girls in the family, they remind us of my grandmother. She had one prized plant and took care of it like a child. When she passed, she willed the plant to my aunt.
